Sample our à la carte menu in our fabulous restaurant that overlooks the river, or opt for something lighter from our snack menu whilst you hideaway in our snug bar. If the weather is kind, arrive early and you could enjoy your meal outside by the river.

We make all the food here ourselves. From the bread, to soups and sauces, ice creams and puddings, we make it all from scratch, so we can ensure you’ll enjoy a superb meal every time you dine.

We also do our very best to source local and organic produce, including vegetables, free range eggs, local cheeses and New Forest seasonal venison and pork. So much so, The Mill has been awarded the New Forest Marque (https://www.newforestproduce.co.uk/) to recognise its commitment to local produce and the environment.

It is not always necessary to book but we do strongly advise this for weekend dinner bookings and Sunday lunch.

“What a treat” – a “really comfortable” spot combining “wonderful, homely but well-presented food” and “excellent beer”. It is best to “dine on the veranda if possible” to profit from the “perfect backdrop” (“beautiful gardens and interesting statues”). Review, Hardens
