In the winter the pub becomes a classic warm and friendly traditional Cornish pub with three large wood burning stoves adding their own level of warmth and comfort. The pub has two lovely letting rooms in the converted stable block to the side of the pub with the views across the country side as well perfect for a short break. The pub is well supported by the local community in the winter and they are joined by the tourist sin the summer to make this a great pub. Food is the big draw and would suit someone from this background as the whole area around St Ives is well visited by foodies!
The trading area is open plan with 25 covers for food in addition to the drinking tables and stools. Built from traditional granite the interior is full of history and local imagery with a unique bar built from old chests of drawers. There are four real ales on at any one time and the pub has hosted real ale festivals and events. There is a large fire in the trading area and an additional two wood burners to make sure that warm winter feeling can be created. Outside is a very large patio area with grass beer garden and children’s playground to accommodate busy summer days

St Ives is home to many artists and the Tate gallery with Mount St Michael and Penzance only 15 mins away.

To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.
Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.
