DESCRIPTION The Old Sun is a half-timbered pub which dates back to 1785 and the building to the 1740’s is predominantly located in the affluent village and civil parish of  Harlington. The village houses a lower and upper school and shares its trade with one other pub. T here is a village green situated near the pub and is used for community activities with a number of buildings surrounding, including the parish hall, village hall, scout hut along with the cricket pitch adjoining the green. Harlington is situated on the outskirts of Dunstable with good rail links to London, Luton & Bedford, benefiting from the train station being just a five minute walk from the pub along with being a short distance away from the M1, M3 and M25  makes an accessible commute for motorists.
