The Telstar Rotherham is a popular community pub located within the heart of a large housing estate. The entrance to the left takes you into the main bar. It is a fairly big room that is divided into two areas. On one side there is a traditional stone floored games area that benefits from a pool table and darts board. The second section is a more relaxed drinking area with carpeted floors, a mixture of fixed and loose seating and a large bar to the back wall. The room is decorated with a significant amount of sport memorabilia with several televisions for customers to enjoy live sports. To the left of the bar there is a doorway into a hallway giving access to the ladies toilets, the private accommodation and the very impressive lounge. This good sized room has the added advantage of having a stage so it is frequently used to put on live entertainment, discos, etc, as well as being used for private parties and functions from the local community. It would also make a great area for dining and there is already a small catering kitchen located behind the bar. It includes all the essential equipment to service an everyday food offer in addition to providing buffets for the function trade.
