Pubs On The Market v2.0

The Half Moon, Rugby

West Midlands

Lawford Road, Rugby CV21 2DY, UK

The Half Moon is a terraced property located on a busy road on the outskirts of Rugby town centre. There are numerous houses surrounding the pub with a fairly significant population. It has plenty of local amenities and small businesses on its door step and the town centre is only a short walk. Rugby is a market town in Warwickshire, close to the River Avon. The town has a population of approximately 70,000 making it the second largest town in the county.

Pub Layout

The pub has two main entrances off the high street which both lead into one large trading area. This area is sectioned off into zones with the bar taking prominence and then the pool area off to the side. The toilets are located to the rear of the pub. There is a good-sized kitchen that isn’t being used however with some work and equipment, a basic food offer could be incorporated. The condition of the pub and its fixtures and fittings are good but would benefit from being upgraded and Admiral may look to invest with the right licensee. Externally, there is a small patio area at the back of the pub which is currently used as a smoking area. The pub does not have its own car park but on street parking is available nearby.

The stated ingoing figures are correct at point of advertising. Please be aware there may be additional costs.

Everything about the Pub

The Half Moon is popular with locals and has a good cask ale following. Although there is no food at present there is potential to introduce a small but simple food offer. The pub has a pool team and hosts skittles with the opportunity to re-introduce a skittles team. Entertainment consists of a successful karaoke night, however, there is scope to develop the offer. Sports play a big part in drawing business into the Half Moon and with Sky TV in place the locals can enjoy major sporting events.
