The Malt Kiln is an attractive detached stone built pub located in the Undercliffe area of Bradford, approximately a mile and a half from the centre of Bradford and is ideally placed within 20 minutes of the M62 and 40 minutes from Leeds. The pub is situated on a busy main road surrounded by a substantial amount of mixed housing. The Malt Kiln has had an internal refurbishment and remains in excellent order however there is an opportunity for investment externally and fitting of the kitchen as this is currently not in use.

Upon entering you are greeted with a central bar in front of you which is surrounded by an open plan horseshoe shape trading area consisting of a mixture of fixed and lose furniture. To the left hand side of the pub there is a games area with pool table and DJ booth and to the right is a lounge with a seating area for up to 50 people. The ladies and gents toilets are also located to the right hand side of the pub. There is an unused catering kitchen located behind the bar which will need upgrading with equipment. Externally, there is a large car park to the rear of the property with an outside drinking area to the front consisting of benches.

The Malt Kiln is a well-established community local pub and is supported by a core of loyal community drinkers.  The trade is currently wet led with a heavy focus on sports and a mixture of entertainment including discos and karaoke. The pub is also home to pool and darts teams. There is an unused catering kitchen which could be improved to produce a simple food offer which would generate an additional income.
