The White Hart Derbyshire

The White Hart is an attractive wet led community pub located in the village of North Wingfield, North East District of the County of Derbyshire. This popular site has been refurbished in the last 3 years and is in excellent order throughout.

The trading area consists of an open plan bar area with central servery, pool and darts area plus a mixture of loose and fixed seating. In addition there is a small galley kitchen ideal for preparing back bar snacks and food for the sports teams which consists of two pool teams a football team and 2 skittle teams which is a traditional unique game played in the Derbyshire area. There is the opportunity to put your own food offer in and keep 100% of the takings.

Externally there is a car park, covered smoking shelter and outdoor seating area with all external decoration and signage being completed with the refurbishment.

This excellent opportunity would suit both an experienced community operator or even a new starter to the trade.  Potential candidates need to integrate with the community and have a passion to run a business offering customers lots of activity and fresh ideas for them to visit their local pub. Marketing skills and a good knowledge of how to effectively promote a business using a variety of social media platforms would be ideal.

What we expect from you:

Our Retail Agreement is a proven business-model, perfect for entrepreneurs who can drive sales, standards and guest experience.

In addition to the £5k security deposit required for this agreement, you will need to cover legal costs (£360 inc VAT), and your own insurance (except building insurance, which we’ll cover). Also, you’ll want to start thinking about your team; taking care of paying them and all other employment matters.

Before we all sign the agreement and see you heading into a whole new life, you’ll just need to show us proof that you’ve had independent financial and legal advice and have completed a sustainable business plan, in accordance with the Pubs Code. And, of course, obtain your personal licence (ask a member of our team about booking this course free of charge with us) and complete your induction training.

It’s a five-year commitment, so you have loads of time to build the business and get it performing brilliantly but, if you do want to leave early, there’s always the option of six months’ notice with a ‘break’ clause in the contract.
