Are you looking for some of the best pub companies in the East Midlands? Our new friends at Everards of Leicestershire have a fantastic story to tell you, all about their business and reasons to consider investing in an Everards pub.
At Everards, we like to do things differently” says Head of Business Development Dave Pawson “It’s what attracted me to work with them.
Attracting the right people for the right pub or business opportunity is always at the top of the Everards team’s agenda, and they really are a diverse business.
With over 150 pubs across the Midlands, and business owners celebrating 10, 15, 25 years and more in their pubs, you won’t be surprised to hear that Everards pubs don’t often come up. On average they have between 2-5 pubs available at any time. Their pub portfolio stretches from traditional, to country to city and more.
Everards of Leicestershire was founded in 1849 by William Everard who purchased a brewery on Southgate Street in the heart of Leicester. Over the years they have moved through the generations and remain an independent family business in its sixth generation.
Brewing a spectacular range of classic favourite’s such as their legendary Tiger, limited-edition brews and small batch beers on their state-of-the-art brewery at Everards Meadows, there’s something to suit every taste.
Proud of their heritage, they continue to be future focused and are working to ensure the sustainability of their pubs and position in the hospitality industry. Pubs are at their heart, but as an independent family business, they also like to invest in other like-minded business owners and have helped open deli’s, cafe’s, and bakeries.
I was drawn to this inspiring way of thinking as pubs across the UK strive to be more than just a pub to meet the needs of today’s customers, more now than ever and I’m delighted to see that happening as part of the Everards family.”
Everards love of pubs and talented business owners shone through more than ever with Project William a few years back. Project William partnered with first generation independent brewers to taken on their own pubs and present their own beers alongside Everards beers on the bar. The project also helped to keep 24 pubs open which Everards took on as pubs of concern from other breweries.
“Pubs will always be in our hearts but we cast our net wider as we search fresh opportunities to work with innovative and talented business owners as they seek to establish their businesses. Whether that be a coffee house, pizzeria or tap room we are open to chatting through any strong business ideas and we may just have the right building for the project or we are able to look at buying a building for the right project.” shares Dave.
As Everards continue to evolve and invest in their pubs, their community, other independent businesses and their state of the art brewery in Leicestershire, they look set for an exciting and bright future ahead.
If you are interested in running your own pub business or ready to take the next step with your own independent business, think Everards!
