On Friday 20th December, spend a few hours experiencing the bar, the Rum Shack, and enjoy a night of amazing live comedy – right in the heart of historic Fort Cumberland.
As always they’ll be serving fresh cocktails as well as delicious spirits, throughout the whole night… And, they will have their very own pizza oven cooking up fresh, handmade artisan pizzas, which will be on sale until from 6pm until 8pm.

David Arnold – has performed at some major UK festivals & has won critical acclaim in competitions such as So You Think You’re Funny & The South Coast!
Joe Wells – as seen on tour with Alexei Sayle and Stephen K Amos,Joe is a neurodivergent comic who has written for HIGNFY and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.
Local hero and star of the “Back to the Eighties” Podcast, James Alderson is, as always, MC-ing!

The Portsmouth Distillery offer a full tour of all facilities, with expert explanations about the processes used in the creation of their fine spirits. You’ll learn about their passion and the history of historic Fort Cumberland, learn how they make the amazing spirits and visit the jewel in their crown, the Powder Magazine.
There you’ll get to taste their fabulous spirits and have a chance to soak up some of the history of the place they are proud to call home. Once you’ve tasted the spirits and chosen your favourite, your ticket will also include a full sized drink of your choice, and of course you are welcome to stay for a few more in our fully licensed bar.
There is a shop at the distillery as well as online, stocking the full range of their spirits, gift packs and merchandise so you’ll be able to take something home to continue to enjoy the experience.
