Comedy Nights In Hampshire – Join The Portsmouth Distillery !
Spend a few hours with us at the Portsmouth Distillery; experience their bar, the Rum Shack, and enjoy a night of amazing live comedy – right in the heart of historic Fort Cumberland, under the comfort of our all-weather outdoor marquee!
They will be opening up our cocktail ‘Rum Shack’, and indoor bar exclusively for this event – serving fresh cocktails, as well as their delicious spirits, throughout the whole night… Plus they will have their very own pizza oven cooking up fresh, handmade artisan pizzas, which will be on sale until around 19:30. Doors open at 17:30, with the acts commencing at 20:00.
As always, they have some fantastic comedians coming down, headlined by the world-famous Stephen K. Amos, who will be supported by award-winning Tom Glover & winner of ‘The Funny Women Awards’, Laura Smyth! With appearances ranging from national (and international) tv shows, series & live shows, and many awards between them, this really isn’t one to miss!

The Portsmouth Distillery also offer a full tour of all facilities, with expert explanations about the processes used in the creation of their fine spirits. You’ll learn about their passion and the history of historic Fort Cumberland, learn how they make the amazing spirits and visit the jewel in their crown, the Powder Magazine.
There you’ll get to taste their fabulous spirits and have a chance to soak up some of the history of the place they are proud to call home. Once you’ve tasted the spirits and chosen your favourite, your ticket will also include a full sized drink of your choice, and of course you are welcome to stay for a few more in our fully licensed bar.
There is a shop at the distillery as well as online, stocking the full range of their spirits, gift packs and merchandise so you’ll be able to take something home to continue to enjoy the experience.
