Our friends have a great comedy night planned for March 31st! This is their 12th ‘Comedy Night At The Fort’ and they can’t wait to be hosting one of these fabulous nights again!
Here’s what they said about it;
Spend a few hours with us at the Portsmouth Distillery; experience our bar, the Rum Shack, and enjoy a night of amazing live comedy – right in the heart of historic Fort Cumberland, under the comfort of our all-weather outdoor marquee! Presenting our first comedy event of 2023… Comedy @ The Fort (#12).We are opening up our cocktail ‘Rum Shack’, and indoor bar exclusively for this event – serving fresh cocktails, as well as our delicious spirits, throughout the whole night… And, we will have our very own pizza oven cooking up fresh, handmade artisan pizzas, which will be on sale until around 19:30! Doors open at 17:30, with the acts commencing at 20:00.As always, we have quite the line-up coming down, headlined by comedy-great Jarred Christmas, who will be supported 2022’s ‘South Coast Comedian(s) of the Year’ – Plastic Jeezus, as well as the absoloutely fantastic Scott Bennett! The Portsmouth Distillery also offer a full tour of all facilities, with expert explanations about the processes used in the creation of their fine spirits. You’ll learn about their passion and the history of historic Fort Cumberland, learn how they make the amazing spirits and visit the jewel in their crown, the Powder Magazine.
There you’ll get to taste their fabulous spirits and have a chance to soak up some of the history of the place they are proud to call home. Once you’ve tasted the spirits and chosen your favourite, your ticket will also include a full sized drink of your choice, and of course you are welcome to stay for a few more in our fully licensed bar.
There is a shop at the distillery as well as online, stocking the full range of their spirits, gift packs and merchandise so you’ll be able to take something home to continue to enjoy the experience.
