Our friends at The Portsmouth Distillery are so proud to announce the arrival of their 3 year old rum ‘1812’. It is their first-ever aged rum and is already proving to be very popular with local establishments as well as customers who have managed to pre order this rum.
Crafted in the heart of an ancient monument, the rum itself will make history, as we become the first English Distillery to make from scratch & authentically age a Rum for three years. You can watch the making of the rum here!

About The Portsmouth Distillery
The Portsmouth Distillery also offer a full tour of all facilities, with expert explanations about the processes used in the creation of their fine spirits. You’ll learn about their passion and the history of historic Fort Cumberland, learn how they make the amazing spirits and visit the jewel in their crown, the Powder Magazine.
There you’ll get to taste their fabulous spirits and have a chance to soak up some of the history of the place they are proud to call home. Once you’ve tasted the spirits and chosen your favourite, your ticket will also include a full sized drink of your choice, and of course you are welcome to stay for a few more in our fully licensed bar.
There is a shop at the distillery as well as online, stocking the full range of their spirits, gift packs and merchandise so you’ll be able to take something home to continue to enjoy the experience.
