Let us tell you about an exciting competition at distilleries in Hampshire where you can show off your mixology skillset at The Portsmouth Distillery ! On Thursday 11th May, they will be hosting The Southern Bartenders Competition and whether you’re joining them to watch or take part, it promises to be a alot of fun!
A bit about the competition…
From creating a cocktail using one of our most unique rums Forum, through to a speed-making cocktail contest (details TBD), and a ‘Flair’ round – there will be plenty of opportunity to impress. Show us what you’ve got!

The Portsmouth Distillery also offer a full tour of all facilities, with expert explanations about the processes used in the creation of their fine spirits. You’ll learn about their passion and the history of historic Fort Cumberland, learn how they make the amazing spirits and visit the jewel in their crown, the Powder Magazine.
There you’ll get to taste their fabulous spirits and have a chance to soak up some of the history of the place they are proud to call home. Once you’ve tasted the spirits and chosen your favourite, your ticket will also include a full sized drink of your choice, and of course you are welcome to stay for a few more in our fully licensed bar.
There is a shop at the distillery as well as online, stocking the full range of their spirits, gift packs and merchandise so you’ll be able to take something home to continue to enjoy the experience.
