If you’re thinking of eating out near Chichester , then why not pay our good friends a visit. Varr House has so much going on ! First, lazy, luxurious SUNDAYS … with the introduction of their GOURMET SUNDAY LUNCHEON MENU – £32 Plated Cocktail & Canape on arrival followed by four delicious courses – which always includes a succulent sirloin of Beef main course option & selection of decadent Desserts to finish. Get your tables booked now!

Of course, their parties will have to be different this year but with social distancing & tables of up to 6, they are still providing the BEST in hospitality this season.

Sunday18th October – OPEN DAY at the quirky Antiques Emporium known as THE COW SHED from 11am – 6pm.
The BAR will be open – serving both hot & cold drinks – so why not pop in for a Bacon Butty pulled Pork Bap or one of their delicious home-made Cakes.
Alternatively, book for one of the GOURMET LUNCHES at Varr House at Meadow View & peruse the collectibles at the Cow Shed en route.

Your Hosts

John Miller and Jim Paget have both been in the hospitality business all their working lives; working together these past 35 years.

Jim tends to concentrate on the kitchen with John front of house and as ‘mine host’.

Both enjoy looking after their guests from the well-stocked bar and their wine collection.

The cottage garden has been tastefully landscaped and re-designed to provide a variety of seating and entertaining areas, all with breathtaking views of the countryside.

Situated between Chichester & Emsworth, the house is within easy reach of Goodwood, Chichester, Portsmouth and the South Downs.
