We currently have an opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join: Beehive & Colors Basildon £45,000 – £50,000 p.a. The Beehive is located in the centre of Basildon and is due an investment of over £500k trades as a traditional Proper Pub on the ground floor with Sky Sports and a decent weekly food trade serving food until 9pm, 7 days a week. There is also a 300-capacity nightclub on the 1st floor which trades at the weekend alongside the pub. The successful General Manager will have experience of running a high-volume pub or nightclub – or both! Strong customer control, plus a good working relationship with the Licensing Authority will be essential. The beehive is a proper pub with one main bar and one trading floor with sky sports and wet led business, very local pub in the main Basildon town centre across from the main train station. This business also has a 300-capacity night club that trades on the 1st floor across the weekend which is due a large investment. We are looking for a General Manager who has outstanding standards of operational excellence and customer service with an eye for detail and has a passion for developing and growing this well-established team and must have late night experience.
