We’re looking to recruit an experienced late-night operator who also has the ability and flexibility to deliver food & Sport to a high standard. Walkabout Brighton is based on the busy West Street area of the City and within a stone’s throw of the famous beachfront. This iconic venue offers guests a superb proposition, whether that be having a relaxing drink in the beer garden or a proper night out. The jewel in the crown for this site is its amazing sports offering, this includes stadium seating and is the local neighbourhood’s number 1 choice for sport viewing. From Football, Darts, F1 Rugby and NFL we are the home of Live Sports. Walkabout Brighton has Live DJ’s delivering the best atmosphere in town and also have the legendary Monday night Quiz sessions and pre-warmup student party on Wednesdays. This venue really does have it all and we require the best General Manager to maximise all the opportunities with a passion to consistently deliver a great experience for our guests and team alike along with creating and promoting great reasons to visit. Our ideal General Manager will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience running a fast paced and high-volume pub/bar with proven results delivering sports, food and that all-important late-night experience. You will be proud to be the face of the business, you will want to be the go-to guy for the local neighbourhood as you will be a keen networker with outstanding communication skills, identifying marketing and sales driving opportunities. Finally, you must have excellent leadership qualities and a proven track record of recruiting, coaching, developing, and rewarding your teams and have a reputation for building winnings teams.
