Lease A Pub In Glasgow – Run The Chrystal Bell
The pub is situated in the historic Gallowgate area of Glasgow city centre, an area crammed with famous old pubs, the Barras market and the Barrowland music venue. The pub itself is located just off the High Street and is a short walk from the major stations and subway. The area is going through a lot of development with lots of new build flats. However, much of the trade comes from surrounding areas of the city who have travelled into the city. The pub is also a short walk from Celtic FC and is therefore very busy on match days.
Pub Layout
The Chrystal Bell is a traditional, one room operation with the horseshoe bar located in the heart of the pub providing ease of service on those busy days. To the right hand side, in complete view of the bar is a raised seating area which could easily be utilised for a dining section or even for those who want to sit out of the hustle and bustle of the busy bar. The commercial kitchen is located behind the bar to the rear of the pub. Being a city centre pub there is no outside drinking area or car park.

Although located in the city centre, the pub is very much a community pub offering great value drinks through the week and focusing on sports and live music at the weekend. There is a commercial kitchen but the food offer at the moment is fairly basic so there is a huge area of opportunity to improve and increase this. At the moment it is very much drinks focussed and predominantly draught with a popular value offer. It is a traditional one bar operation which benefited from a full refurbishment at the end of 2018. Showing live sporting events is essential to the business especially with being in such close proximity to the football ground.

Security Deposit – This sum of money will be held on your account and will be returned to you on exiting of the pub based on your final account balance and the condition of the property
Working Capital – This is a recommend amount required which will be used in the day-to-day running of the business
Stock – This will be valued by an independent valuer on the day you take over the pub. This includes unbranded glassware, unopened bottles, wines, spirits, any unopened / opened kegs and cask ale providing the container is unopened
Fixtures & Fittings – This includes any item that is bolted to the floor or walls, and a fitting to be any item that is free standing or hung by a nail or hook. This will also include furniture
Training – Before signing a long term agreement, you will be required to attend our 7 Steps to Sales Success training programme. Held online over three days, you will learn marketing and business strategies that will help you to grow sales in your pub – step-by-step.
