You’ll find the Horse and Groom in Mortimer, on the roadside, directly opposite Mortimer Common, in the village centre. It’s an old, double-fronted detached pub with a side garden, a public car park opposite, and roadside parking.
It’s a community pub offering great food and drinks, events, and functions integral to village life. Guests love it for its honest pub classics – real pub grub bursting with flavour at excellent value. It’s also the best place to watch live sports in Mortimer Common because of its large HD TV screens.
The Horse & Groom is a one-room operation with a central bar, set into three definitive trading zones: a bar, food, and chill-out space with a relaxing log burner. The creative operator will ensure to maximise the potential of each independent zone.
