Stonegate Pub Partners are now seeking an experienced publican or someone with experience of running and developing a food operation who can look to develop the offer of food to attract further trade. Overview of Five Bells

Indoor trading area
The Five Bells is a traditionally decorated pub with tiled and carpeted flooring as well as charming exposed beams. On entering the pub customers are greeted by a central saloon bar with eight covers. There is a dining area to the left with 14 covers and to the right is a games area which houses a pool table and dart board. A large function room is located on the first floor with its own bar perfect for birthdays and special occasions. There is plenty of room for live music and entertainment, catering for over 40 customers. Whilst the trade kitchen is large, it would require a refit to bring it in line with modern kitchen requirements. There is potential for possible development of the premise’s dependent on the suitability of applicants and respective business plans.

Outdoor trading area
Four picnic benches offer a drinking and smoking area to the front of the pub whilst the rear beer garden is laid to lawn with bench seating for up to 40 patrons. This large area boasts potential for play equipment, outside dining and large events. On-site parking is available for eight vehicles with ample parking across the high street in a public car park. The pub external decorations and signage give the site great kerb appeal.

Surrounding area
Hoo is one of several villages on the Hoo Peninsula on the Isle of Grain, home to two large power plants with the potential to draw to the trade to the pub.
