With the incumbent publican’s agreement ending mid April we are looking for an operator to take the reins and operate the site for the short – medium term whilst we work up our plans and investment proposal and head to a new let.
Ideally the short term publican will have long term ambitions and may indeed play a part in shaping the future with us, which would be fantastic.
This pub is available on a Tenancy At Will agreement (TAW). A TAW agreement is a short-term licence which can be terminated at short notice. You are taking on a temporary agreement only and as such some key elements of the codes of practice and the Landlord and Tenant Act will not apply. TAWs cannot be assigned nor can sub-letting take place.
Even though this may only be a tenancy at will, you will need some form of capital behind you for cash flow and early expenses. The actual amount of capital required for ingoings and the rent will be discussed with the Operations Manager.
Please be aware that for a TAW application, you will need an up-to-date Personal Licence to progress
