The pub is also located 0.75 miles from the South Downs Way and walks have been designed from the pub to the official walking trails. Inside, this pub offers a large open log fire and wood burner in the snug, seating for 100+ people offering spacious dining for all, as well as a cosy snug area, and two separate dining areas that can also be booked for private functions. Whether you choose to eat informally around the bar or take a table into the restaurant, this pub really does have something to offer for all. In summer, the large French doors from the restaurant provides access to open air dining for up to 20 people on a beautiful terrace with wonderful views of the ample garden that borders the River Meon.

The pub offers a selection of English real ales, draught beers, wines and spirits in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The menus offer a wide range of freshly cooked dishes and will change seasonally to reflect the finest, freshest produce available locally and is well known and very busy for its delicious Sunday Carvery. The pub has a full wedding license and has hosted many successful weddings over the years. There are currently no weddings booked in case the new licensee does not want to honour this high commitment event. Alongside this they hosts regular meetings for Jaguar, Mini Cooper, American Classic & Hot Rods and Alfa Romeo and is the ideal venue due to the large car parking facilities and separate dining areas.

Training – Before signing a long term agreement, you will be required to attend our 7 Steps to Sales Success training programme. Held online over three days, you will learn marketing and business strategies that will help you to grow sales in your pub – step-by-step.
Service Charge Cost – £57.60 per week – The Admiral Taverns Premium Maintenance Package will help take care of your compliance and statutory obligations with one simple fee, whilst giving you piece of mind about your boiler and cellar cooling repair and replacement. This also includes full access to e-learning for you and your staff.
