JOB DESCRIPTION
Working to provide first class legal advice to both the office and field-based colleagues, the Legal Advisor will have, or will develop their detailed knowledge of all operational letting agreements, landlord and tenant legislation, leaseholder covenants, termination of letting agreements, court driven possession actions and dispute resolution.
The Legal Advisor will be (or will become) an in house expert on all legal aspects of leased and tenanted sites.
The Legal Advisor will liaise with multiple stakeholders including field-based operators, legal support, licensing, credit control, sales ledger, compliance, local authorities and solicitors appointed by the Company.
The Legal Advisor will spend some time out of the office attending Divisional meetings and court as required The Legal Advisor role would be ideal for you if you have experience of the following ; although training could be available Knowledge of Company Law. Knowledge of the wide variety of leases and tenancies within the Stonegate estate and all covenants contained therein.
An understating of the 2016 Pubs Code. Dealing with local authorities, professional advisors and having the confidence to challenge.
