Situated in the historic suburb of Shawlands, Glasgow, approximately 2 miles south of the River Clyde, G41 is located in the middle of Kilmarnock Road. The area, considered the “Heart of the Southside” is known for its independent restaurants, cafes, bars and art scene promoting it as one of the coolest neighbourhoods or the city’s best are to live and socialise.
This penthouse style building creates the industrial feel with exposed brick walls, cosy booths and urban decor giving it a diverse audience, located within the busy drinking circuit of this up and coming area. With direct bus routes frequently running from Glasgow city centre, close links to the M77 and M8 motorways and within walking distance of three railway stations this area is accessible enhancing it as one of the areas social scenes to visit.

The internal trade space covers two floors. The ground floor is adorned with cosy booths and snugs alongside high tables and chairs giving that modern chic, industrial feel along with a mezzanine floor above. The ground floor is home to the main bar area and stage area with TV’s adorning the walls advertising regular drinks overs. The mezzanine area is a fantastic space complete with a mixture of benched and loose low level seating, complimented by high tables looking out over the main road. A good size catering kitchen lends itself to catering up to 60 people which alongside the mezzanine area could provide an area for private functions.

Developing and implementing a detailed marketing plan to attract and retain customers including traditional marketing strategies as well as being proactive and adept in using social media to promote the venue and its events whilst maintaining and enhancing the venue’s trendy, industrial-chic ambiance, the right licensee will be able to significantly grow the business, ensuring that G41 remains a popular and vibrant destination.
