The pub and location
Set in the heart of Emsworth, this roadside pub is pretty and characterful. Close to the city of Portsmouth and Chichester and situated a stone’s throw from the southern coastline, you’ll nurture this quirky pub with a characterful trading space of nooks and crannies.
Here you will find a great bar with ale served from the cask. Guests relax in the snug in front of an open fire and appreciate the traditional features, including stone floors.
You’ll discover a central bar here with a kitchen and restaurant space on the ground floor for dining leading onto an outside terrace. There’s a new heated area, and you’ll find another restaurant area ideal for dining and functions up a set of stairs.
Each pub area is different, adding to the Sussex’s quirkiness and charm. The ideal Publican will bring to life the unique character of this beautiful, historic pub.
You’ll find the Sussex Brewery in Emsworth, outside of the town centre, by the southern coastline, between the cities of Portsmouth and Chichester just off the A27.
