THE SHIP INN IS SITUATED ON THE ROSELAND PENINSULA IN THE CHARACTERISTIC VILLAGE OF PORTLOE, WITH A PICTURESQUE SEASIDE LOCATION AND CLOSE TO THE MAIN COASTAL PATH THE SHIP IS A VERY POPULAR TOURIST STOP OFF.

The Ship Inn is situated on the Roseland Peninsula in the characteristic village of Portloe, with a picturesque seaside location and close to the main coastal path the Ship is a very popular tourist stop off. Portloe itself is close to Portscatho and St Mawes so in the summer the whole area is a hive of activity.
Trading Potential:
The Ship historically has done well offering fresh local fish and produce on its menu which is appreciated by the local inhabitants of Portloe. Whilst offering the traditional fayre the Ship has benefited from a more restaurant style offering in the evenings. There is a strong seasonal uplift due to Portloe’s proximity to the coast and the area does have a large proportion of second homes precipitating the need to focus on the summer trade but also cost controls of the business in the winter months.
