The License Trade Charity are holding focus groups supporting the hospitality industry and they need you!
LTC exists to support people like you – passionate hospitality professionals highly skilled in a range of areas too long to list here.
Their ambition is to deliver services that reflect the needs of a diverse workforce. They are asking for your help to shape future services so that they remain specifically relevant to people, like you, who work in licensed drinks trade.
They want to hear what you and your peers think are the best and worst things about working in the licensed hospitality industry – the challenges, what motivates you and what you love and hate!
They want to do this so that you and your colleagues can continue to benefit from free services now and in the years to come.
They are pleased to announce they will be holding 3 panel sessions that will be hosted in London on 6th July, Bath on 7th July and Birmingham on 8th July.

Each session will start at 10am and finish at 3pm and will have a group of 15 to 18 people. They need a diverse group made up of people in different roles and a variety of hospitality employers. They want to build an industry wide picture, not a company specific one.
They will provide a light lunch and a day of brainstorming in an informal supportive atmosphere where each of you will be listened to without judgment. There will be an independent facilitator to kick things off and coordinate the day.
If you would like to help them shape future services, please complete this form. It should take about 4 minutes to complete.
The deadline for completing this form is 16th June.
Once they receive your submissions, they will shortlist people to invite based on a fair representation of everybody working in the trade.
You can talk to us about anything
The Licensed Trade Charity supports pub, bar, brewery, wines and spirits people in need of help. They support hundreds of people facing a crisis, and to avoid crisis, with practical, emotional and financial support each year.
It is estimated that around 250,000 people working in the licensed trade are in need of support at any one time and they try to reach out to as many as possible.
People who manage or work in licensed hospitality give a lot of time, energy and often compassion to their customers, but when a life crisis hits, it may not take much to have a devastating effect on them, and their family.
The Charity is honest with how they can help. From their Trustee body, to their employees and volunteers, the Charity consists of people who genuinely care about making a positive difference in others’ lives. This passion for others is woven into the fabric of who they are and what they do.
