We’re looking for a Management Partner who can unlock the full potential of this exceptional pub. You’ll ensure that the Crystal palace is the first choice for local guests’, and you will be centre point for the area. You’ll be an experienced operator well-versed in running a successful and quality fresh food offer. High volume experience an advantage. Guest obsessed, you’ll own service personally, and will relentlessly ensure nothing is to much trouble for the guest
The pub and location
The Crystal Palace is in a prime community spot, surrounded by a strong economy, plenty of chimney pots and thriving local businesses. The USP is its position on the canal, with a large canal side terrace, and significant side garden with outside bar which brings high seasonal sales. Its location also benefits from Berkhamsted railway station (2 mins walks), and is in throwing distance of a heritage site (castle ruins) that pulls many visitors each year.
