The Albany is an amazing traditional pub in the busy Roath area. It is situated amongst lots of terraced housing and is near to the busy Albany Road area. The pub has two separate areas with the lounge bar on one side which has a more relaxed feel and the main bar area with a big projector and multiple screens showing the live sport plus space for bands/live music.
The pub has a wide ranging demographic from younger students living nearby to workers and older customers along with regulars too.
It is a predominantly wet led pub with Live Sports and Music and it has an amazing secret garden out the back which is really nice to sit and enjoy drinks in during the nicer weather. The garden has plenty of space to hold BBQ’s in the summer months too.
There is a small kitchen in the upstairs accommodation which can be used to promote a small food offering of basket meals but wouldn’t be suitable for a wide ranging menu.
There is no parking on site however it is amongst lots of terraced housing and close to Albany/Wellfield Road so there is lots of potential footfall in the area and the pub is well known.
