The Amble Inn has that perfect mix of being cosy and welcoming for those after a quiet pint, whilst having ample space and a fantastic atmosphere to serve fresh home cooked food from its well-equipped commercial kitchen. The open plan bar currently comprises numerous designated areas for drinking and dining, including a conservatory all of which is able to feature live events such as open mic nights or musically themed events.

The garden is set on three tiers and is to the side of the pub. It is a mix of grassed areas, patio and pathways with a large number of tables and chairs to enjoy drinking in the sun. The car park is then located to the side of the pub and has space for approximately 12 vehicles.

The private accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, an office, lounge and bathroom/wc.

The pub is opposite a large, popular open area used by walkers, hikers, runners and families. Harpenden is a highly desirable, and wealthy commuter town with a population of around 30,000 and situated just a few minutes’ drive from the city centre of St Albans. A number of National Trust and English Heritage sites are a just few miles away, including the primary residence of the renowned Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw.

Includes stock & glassware at valuation, deposit (calculated as 25% of £27,500.00), refundable at the end of your agreement dependent upon your account being in good order. Up to 2 weeks rent and other contractual charges will be payable in advance. Please note, the actual deposit payable will be 25% of the final agreed rent.

In addition you will need to provide funds for professional advice and a level of working capital – the amount will be dependent on your business plan.
