The Burnt Oak is situated in an area of Milton Keynes called Shenley Brook End with its neighbouring areas, Shenley Church End and the districts of Shenley Wood and Shenley Lodge, the districts are collectively known as “The Shenleys”. The immediate area has a population of 25,000 whilst Milton Keynes is 250,000.
The pub is near a primary school and one of the best performing secondary schools in Milton Keynes with everything on the door step or only a 5 minute drive away from retail shopping, library and centrally linked train station.
The pub itself is a large size with approx. 80 covers in total and a separate conservatory room with 40 covers that can also be used for functions. The pub currently trades on 70/30 wet to food split doing around £8,000 – £10,000 a week in turnover. From the main front door it has a long bar and several screens for showing live sport, a pool table, dart and an interactive dart board game. A full Marston’s food menu is available all day and there are two external beer gardens to sit in when the sun is shining.

And, of course, obtain your personal licence (which we’ll help with) and complete your induction training.It’s a five-year commitment, so you have loads of time to build the business and get it performing brilliantly but, if you do want to leave early, there’s always the option of six months’ notice with a ‘break’ clause in the contract
