The Horse and Jockey is a one bar operation with 2 distinct trading areas. A relaxed, soft lounge area mainly used for dining and hosting private functions and a bar area with darts, pool and smoking shelter. There is a very large car park, patio area and children’s playground. The pub is situated on the very busy Walsall to Lichfield main road and is adjacent to a large retail and industrial area, and opposite the busy Barons Court Hotel. Things to consider
In addition to the £5k security deposit required for this agreement, you will need to cover your own insurance, except building insurance, which we’ll cover. Also, you’ll want to start thinking about your team; taking care of paying them and all other employment matters.Before we all sign the agreement and see you heading into a whole new life, you’ll just need to show us proof that you’ve had independent financial advice from an accountant and solicitor, as dictated by the Statutory Pub Code. And, of course, obtain your personal licence (which we’ll help with) and complete your induction training.
