The Firs Inn is a large community pub set in the lovely village of Castlecroft only 2 miles from Wolverhampton city centre. This is a great prospect for an licensee who is passionate about their local community. The site currently takes on average £6,000 per week based on the wet and food product sales. The excellent Marston’s pub classics menu is underused at this pub with on 95% of sales coming from food, so there is huge potential to achieve up to £12k a week by targeting extra food and drinks sales.

The pub comprises of a bar, large lounge and games area with a pool and darts area for the sporty drinkers. The large main lounge and bar is the space for friend and family diners, with over 60 covers available. It’s situated in a residential area with plenty of passing trade. The pub also benefits from a large beer garden, with great cover away from the road and a number of local shops and business nearby so the reasons to visit are all around the Firs. There is a regular client base with potential to expand to increase sales and utilise the large mixed demographic community.
We are looking for an licensee/s who is an experienced community operator with the knowledge of the local area ideally. The next operator would need be able to maintain our current weekly activities in addition to adding new ones.

The Anticipated Partner Profit for this site is TBC per annum

With low ingoing costs, all the training and support you need to set you up for success, this is a great way of running your own business.
What’s in it for you?

All our Pub Partners get access to our FREE Learning, Development and Training platform Campus (a package worth over £300!).
What we expect from you:

Our Retail Agreement is a proven business-model, perfect for entrepreneurs who can drive sales, standards and guest experience.

In addition to the £5k security deposit required for this agreement, you will need to cover legal costs (£360 inc VAT), and your own insurance (except building insurance, which we’ll cover). Also, you’ll want to start thinking about your team; taking care of paying them and all other employment matters.

Before we all sign the agreement and see you heading into a whole new life, you’ll just need to show us proof that you’ve had independent financial and legal advice and have completed a sustainable business plan, in accordance with the Pubs Code. And, of course, obtain your personal licence (ask a member of our team about booking this course free of charge with us) and complete your induction training.

It’s a five-year commitment, so you have loads of time to build the business and get it performing brilliantly but, if you do want to leave early, there’s always the option of six months’ notice with a ‘break’ clause in the contract.
