The pub and location
The Crown and Glove pub overlooks the village of Stannington in the suburbs of Sheffield. It stands proud on Uppergate Road, affectionately known as the Top House due to its stunning vantage point. The village is approximately five miles from Sheffield City Centre.
The pub has three characterful spaces: the dining room (circa 50 covers), bar area (35 covers) and cosy snug, which can double as a meeting room. You’ll manage your kitchen staff with ease during a busy service in the small but well-equipped catering kitchen with excellent facilities. Guests bask in the warmth of cosy and traditional log fires!
The ideal operator will also take advantage of the great outside space to the front and side of the building with picturesque views of Sheffield and the Peak District. You’ll discover a fantastic potential to maximise sales here, as this pub is a great stop-off spot for dog walkers, ramblers, and regulars.
