Welcome to Samuel's Rest, now under new ownership. This is an old-fashioned boozer with a friendly ambience in the heart of Shedfield.
It was the founding place of the British Petanque Association.
The watering hole has a large beer garden and outdoor heating but is probably best known for the home-cooked pub classics and sensational Sunday Roasts where you can choose from a great selection of meats as well as a vegan and vegetarian option.
