About the Pub
The Captain Webb is a large community pub set in a highly populated residential area of Crewe. The pub has two bars, one being an attractive lounge with well-maintained decor and fixture and fittings, accommodating up to 50 people. The second area is currently used as a games room, primarily for pool and darts and has fixed seating along the length of one wall, a pace popular with the local community. This pub is in excellent condition, having been well maintained by the previous tenants who recently retired following 40 years in the pub, so has gained a great reputation being the locals pub. There is a smoking solution canopy at the rear of the property and some limited outside seating. In addition to a large carpark the pub also has a reasonably sized grassed area that could be developed further with outside seating. The private accommodation consists of three-bedrooms, a lounge, bathroom and kitchen, ideal for a family. Stonegate Pub Partners are seeking a new or experienced publican to really drink wet-led trade on this fantastic community pub.

Surrounding Area
Crewe is a railway town within the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the county of Cheshire, England with a population in excess of 70,000. Crewe is perhaps best known as a large railway junction and home to Crewe Works, as for many years a major railway engineering facility for manufacturing and overhauling locomotives, but now is much reduced in size. From 1946 until 2002 it was also the home of Rolls-Royce motor car production. The Pyms Lane factory on the west of the town now produces Bentley motor cars exclusively.

Regional Manager’s Thoughts
The Captain Webb is a traditional wet led property set within a highly populated residential area in the busy market town of Crewe. This is a pub with some history, the previous tenants having recently retired after 40 years at the site leading to an excellent established reputation for high standards. We have recently converted this site to “Beacon” which means lower prices to encourage trade and additional support to assist the right publican in growing this business.
