The King Of Prussia Fowey
The King of Prussia dates from the late 17th century and is thought to be named after the smuggler and privateer John Carter nicknamed ‘the King of Prussia.’ It sits at the heart of the beautiful historical harbour town of Fowey, with views overlooking the estuary and occupies a prominent position in the town. Fowey is a very popular destination for visitors to Cornwall with the King of Prussia benefiting from a very strong seasonal uplift. The main bar is accessed at the front via steps leading from the Harbour square and has approximately 40 covers. Externally to the front of the building is an outside seating area specifically reserved for the KOP in the summer with a further 16 covers and adjacent to this is a covered seating area (locally known as the ‘Butter market’) with the capacity for another 20 covers.

As the site is set right in the heart of the market town of Fowey there is no private parking but there is lots of pay and display parking available close by. There is an outside area Known as ‘The Butter Market’ which is equipped to deliver a variety of takeaway food options being very popular with the seasonal visitors.
