We’re looking for an experienced food operator who will serve a delicious menu. You’ll capitalise on the passing trade, including visitors to the nearby Peak District National Park.
This Cask Marque-accredited pub is full of character and a hub of a large rural community with no local shops. Situated in a prominent roadside position towards the top of a hill on the edge of the village, it boasts stunning countryside views.
The pub has separate trading areas, including a lounge bar, and dining area. The small kitchen can serve up to forty covers, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. Outside, there’s parking for over twenty vehicles and a grassed area that can serve as a beer garden.
The location
Rainow is a large village with around 2,000 people, which nestles in the hills of East Cheshire, just on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It sits just three miles from Macclesfield, a desirable place to live, and is the main focus of local community life. The pub sits on the main B5470 road through the village, so there’s plenty of potential to attract passing trade. You’ll also attract local villagers and visitors to the area looking for somewhere to stay.
