The Cock Inn is a Grade II listed, detached pub situated in the heart of the rural village of Brockton, Worthen, Shropshire, just 13 miles west of Shrewsbury. The Cock benefits from its prominent roadside location, along with being the only pub in Brockton and represents an ideal opportunity to re-launch a well-supported country pub.

The Cock has three distinct areas, through the main entrance you are welcomed in to the main bar with a well-stocked range of products this is often used by the locals it is well balanced with fixed and loose seating. This it is followed on to a snug area with fixed seating, for those who are after a quiet drink or bite to eat. Finally, you reach the sports area which houses the pool table and darts board. Externally there is a large car park with around 35 spaces and a fantastic beer garden which lends itself as a fabulous space for weddings and community events there is also two external storage sheds with electricity. At present the current operator utilises the external space by capturing tourists with hook up for three motor homes.
TRADING STYLE
The Cock is a well-loved pub which is supported by the local community. The pub is trading on evening opening hours midweek, however resumes the day time trade on the weekends. There is a small entertainment program in terms of live music, bingo and weekly raffles. The Cock currently has a traditional food offer, however, we believe that there is an opportunity to take advantage of the fully equipped catering kitchen and re-position the food offer in line with current trends. There is also a opportunity to support local teams and show live sporting events.
