About The Hanger Freehouse
The Hanger Freehouse is located amidst the beautiful countryside in the village of Oakhanger, Hampshire. It is thought that the pub dates back as far as 1550 and was previously known as The Red Lion & The Rising Sun Inn.

Explore The Hangers Way…
The Hangers Way is a 21 mile long-distance footpath through Hampshire. Starting at Alton railway station it trails through the beautiful Hampshire countryside finishing at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, south of Petersfield.
The Hanger Country Pub and Restaurant makes for the perfect stop to take a break and refuel.
