This traditional country pub is exactly what you’d expect, with exposed beams and original features throughout the two trading areas creating a comfortable and almost romantic atmosphere. The main bar area has a central servery in the heart of the pub which services all areas, the furnishings in here are a mixture of loose and fixed along with bar stools and space for vertical drinking. There is also a separate dining area, predominantly fitted with loose furniture for versatility, providing space for twenty-four covers. Behind the dining room is the quaint, compliant catering kitchen, ideal size for the maximum amount of covers along with ease of location for service. There is an attractive beer garden directly across the road from the pub, complete with picnic benches for those who are visiting with dogs or wanting to enjoy the warmer months and sunny days.

The pub is currently supported heavily by the locals; however, it is also popular with visitors and passersby.
