The Church Inn Lowton is located in the affluent village of Lowton, a suburb in the borough of Wigan and we are looking at developing the pub to become the best community local in the area. The pub itself is right opposite the village church and church green which provides a strong amount of passing trade. Surrounded by a good level of housing which is all of good quality and a number of local businesses and good shopping opportunities just a little further down the road.

About the Pub

On entering The Church Inn Lowton you are welcomed by a single bar servery which services all areas of the pub, around the bar is your traditional bar area with bar stools and loose seating. To the left of the pub there is a raised dining area with a mixture of fixed and loose seating, along with double French doors leading to the external courtyard. To the right of the bar you can find the sports lounge, housing a pool table, darts board and a multitude of televisions, ideal for live sporting events. To the front of the pub you will find a car park, providing space for a number of vehicles. To the rear there is a recently renovated courtyard, complete with a fixed pagoda, new chic outdoor lighting and picnic benches which is ideal in the summer months.

TRADING STYLE The Church Inn Lowton is a popular community local which has been ran to a good standard, in keeping with the affluence of the area. With a recently renovated outdoor space along with a kitchen and a strong cask offer, the pub has something to offer for all age ranges. There is a separate space for sports fans and we are hoping that the next licensee will support and drive the local sports teams along with continuing to show live sporting events throughout the year. The kitchen is not currently in use, however the opportunity is there to provide a strong value food offer.
