This pub would be suitable for people new to the trade who have experience in the catering industry, or an excellent opportunity to develop the current offering at the Cross Inn, Gelligaer. Remotely located, it offers a great food menu for drive to customers while also offering a great community feel to the local housing estate just 400 meters away. Gelligaer is a town and community in the county borough of Caerphilly in the Rhymney River valley with a population of over 18,000. The area also includes the villages of Cefn Hengoed and Hengoed to the south. The town is known for its stone roman fort which is believed to have been built between 103 and 111 A.D and was excavated in the early 20th century. The Cross Inn is surrounded by the lush greenery and wildlife of the South Wales valley, and nearby to the local shops and businesses. It is situated on a hill and its remote location means it looks down on the green fields leading onto Bargoed and Ystrad Mynach.
