The Duke of Bridgewater is a traditional community pub and is well positioned on the edge of the town centre on a busy crossroad of Crewe, with plenty of passing trade and can accommodate drinkers on their way into and out of town both for daily shoppers and for evening drinking. There are plenty of housing, shops and other amenities close by including Crewe train station and Crewe Alexandra Football Club. Crewe is a railway town in East Cheshire and well known for its great railway links to the capital.
The pub is split into three distinct drinking areas; the main bar, a quieter lounge and a pool area. The bar is centrally located and is in front of you as you enter from the main street. The lounge is to the left with plenty of seating and a roaring fire that’s extremely popular with the locals in the colder months. The ladies and gents are also located in this area. To the right of the bar is a pool table where a lot of the locals congregate for socialising alongside the bar. There is an enclosed beer garden to the rear that could be a real GEM and add value during the summer months.
