This much loved local is set to undergo a transformational £245,000 investment, bringing new life to a classic pub at the heart of Dukinfield. Located just a mile from Dukinfield town centre, and within easy reach of Hyde and Stalybridge, The Lodge already holds a special place in the community. With a local population of around 19,00 many of whom already call The Lodge their local, this exciting revamp will make the pub even more welcoming for everyone.
Inside, the pub will remain true to its roots while receiving a full refresh. The lounge will be redesigned with stylish fixed seating, creating a warm and relaxing space for friends and families to enjoy. The sports area will be enhanced with a pool table, a state-of-the-art darts board, and multiple screens to provide the best live sport experience. At the heart of it all, the central bar will continue to efficiently serve both sides of the pub, ensuring excellent service for every guest. Outside, the transformation continues with a newly designed beer garden, complete with fresh benches and flooring to create a perfect spot for summer evenings. For the colder months, a sheltered seating area will provide comfort and warmth, allowing the pub to be enjoyed all year round. This new outdoor space will also become a great setting for community charity events, strengthening The Lodge’s role as a true hub for the local area. This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
All new operators have comprehensive free training as part of their agreement.
Michelle Ryan our Business Development Manager is looking for passionate operators who thrive in the heart of a community pub and is ideally seeking seeking a dynamic individual or couple ready to immerse themselves in community life. The new operator should implement a great rhythm of the week that ideally with darts and pool teams featuring and importantly maximising the full paid to view sports package. Your skills must include commercial accumbent and the ability to market and drive sales. We want someone dedicated and skilled to championing our community first ethos while delivering outstanding hospitality and first class operational standards.
