The Sun Inn is one of the Lake District’s most famous 18th century country inns, it is situated in the south lakes on the A591 between Windermere and Ambleside, approximately 3 miles from Windermere. The Sun Inn is a quality destination food pub with upgraded letting rooms.

On site, there is a small reception bar, conservatory dining area and 12 high quality letting rooms. The letting accommodation comprises a large open plan living dining area with a fully fitted kitchen and en-suite double bedroom. There is a lower floor that could easily be converted into 3 further bedrooms. A barbeque area can be found in the picturesque private garden. A good quality, well-fitted kitchen has the space and equipment to successfully deliver the pub’s food proposition. The generous internal trading space lends itself to live music.

To the front is a patio with picnic benches and seating for 30 people, with a large landscaped car park for 15 vehicles to the left of the building. There is a private beach on Lake Windermere with fishing and launching rights.
