The Bacon Arms dates back to the 17th Century Civil War and has historically been a coaching inn.
Now the Bacon Arms serves as a community pub with a wide range of daily pub classics and 14 letting rooms!
The Bacon is situated on the main road and a short walk from other local pubs and bars and benefits from a strong local music scene, sports teams and links with local businesses, especially at lunch times.
The current reputation locally is strong and the team have worked hard to drive a consistent level of service. The new operator needs to jump on this wave and take it to new heights. Regular events (small self funding ones) need to form the bread and butter of the week with locals bingo, meat draws, raffles and charity and community events.
