The Black Bull is a beautiful pub and hotel/restaurant, and we are looking for a unique leader to define its success story with us. It is the perfect pub for a highly experienced and detailed obsessed operator. You’ll be used to high volume and get a real kick out of driving sales through leading a big team.
The Black Bull Hotel has it all! It boasts a busy bar, bustling restaurant and nine well-presented letting rooms. The pub has already proven itself in terms of what it can do. However, now it needs someone who can take the helm at pace and push it to the next level!
The Location
The Black Bull sits imposingly on the main road through the village of Kirkby Stephen. Kirkby Stephen is increasingly becoming a hotspot for visitors and tourists to the area, with walking and cycling groups using the town as a stop-off or stayover location.
Many visitors to Lake District will also pass through the village and choose it as a great place to stop for refreshments. But Kirkby Stephen is also a bustling location in its own right with several antique shops, restaurants, cafés, and a visitor centre. This picturesque, rural village has won many awards from Cumbria/Britain in Bloom.
The surrounding area attracts walkers, ramblers, and climbers, with the Kirkby Mountain Rescue team always on hand to help the more intrepid explorer.
