It lies in the civil parish of East Riding of Yorkshire and is one of the main market towns in the East Yorkshire Wolds, lying midway between Hull and York, about 20 miles from either one
Pub Layout
This site is a small, cosy pub that consists of one long main bar area with a split trade area for social drinking and pub games. The Carpenters Arms underwent a sympathetic refurbishment 3 or 4 years ago that gave the pub a new lease of life making this the quality wet led site it is. Externally there is a designated smoking area, and a recent development means we have potentially the best garden in the town.
