We are now ready to compliment this with a solid and substantial daytime and early week business. We will concentrate on competing well on price and product range and will build some great foundations for the Cumberland Inn with a brilliant sport offering and plenty of content through the week, from quiz nights to karaoke and darts and pool Teams to great community events. We are perfectly located to broaden the appeal of the Cumberland Inn and therefore to add really solid foundations to our thriving weekend business.
As the new publican, you’ll have the chance to maximise the pub’s reputation for late-night weekend parties, DJ sets, karaoke, and live entertainment. With a 3 a.m. license on weekends and 1 a.m. during the week, the possibilities for extended operating hours and themed events are endless. Plus, with nearby hotels, restaurants, and fast food chains, you’ll benefit from a built-in clientele eager for a lively nightlife experience.

You’ll have high-quality support for your pub business from the start of your Management Partnership. We achieved Best Partnership Pub Company for 501+ sites at this year’s Publican Awards. In 2023, we achieved MIND Gold and won the Licenced Trade Charity Staff Wellbeing Award for 201+ sites.
Your journey with us will begin with the Progress with Punch award-winning one-week training course in our £1M academy with a state-of-the-art kitchen, two bars and a cellar. Then, your Operations Manager will give you what you need to succeed with a warm, community pub investment, full live sports coverage, great value drinks pricing, and a weekly entertainment calendar. You’ll be free to focus on your exceptional pub standards and consistently epic service.
But that’s not all. In addition to substantially investing in your pub and pricing your drinks competitively to help you build solid trade, we’ll also give you a significant entertainment budget. You’ll have the capital to drive new footfall with quizzes, bingo, karaoke, charity events, DJs, and live bands. Your sports offer will also be essential. So, we will provide Sky and TNT sports.
We will pay for all costs, other than the team labour costs, from 20% of your sales Management Fee. And you’ll have the marketing support needed to ensure your business flies. Your Operations Manager will be by your side, committed to visiting your pub two to three times every week.

We are committed to a substantial investment into the pub, beer garden and accommodation and full support on day-to-day sales-driving content and we are very confident that we can establish a successful partnership with the right Publican. This is a moment for the Cumberland Inn and most definitely one to restore former glories and to lead a successful business to great heights.
