The pub can be found in the village of Lidlington, Beds just off of the A507, which is a busy road that runs from Junction 13 of the M1 towards Woburn and Ampthill. The pub is also a short five-minute drive from the busy A421 which runs between the M1 and the A1. The Green Man is a grade II Listed building with a thatched roof country pub with a difference, located on the high street in the middle of this picturesque Village. The pub dates back to the 1600s when it was the centre of village life for a thriving community and surrounded by lush farmland and still today has a good community spirit! The pub incorporates the values of traditional pub hospitality, but with a traditional feel with exposed beams and low ceilings.
Pub Layout
The main bar and servery is accessed via the front door of the pub, you are welcomed by a servery containing both fixed and lose seating and a corner bar with a range of standard and premium drinks. To the right of the bar there is a raised area, currently used as a lounge/games room and sometimes to host bands and DJ's. Behind the bar area, you will access a catering kitchen, providing the opportunity to offer food and dining. Externally there is a small beer garden and car park.

The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, lounge and bathroom. The kitchen is located downstairs in the pub.

This site needs a licensee (s) with good marketing skills who can embed themselves within the local community making the pub the hub of the village. The pub company are looking for an operator who wants to expand the real ale offer, attract more sports team and to be a valued member of the community. The pub needs to bring back the local community experience with events such as family fun days, charity events, beer festival, cider festival, bingo, home-cooked food if applicable.
